Invasive?

I am trying to figure out if this is the invasive weed called Policeman's Helmet. I am quite certain it is a type of Impatiens. The seeds fly at the slightest brush in the fall. Then in spring the new plants are everywhere in my shade/woodland garden. They grow to about 3 feet tall in my garden. I rather like them and find that they are easy to control by just pulling them out before they all go to seed.

That is the most gorgeous weed I've ever seen! Doesn't look terribly 'impatien-y' to me in the picture but you'd know better.

This looks like a plant that I have that I call poor man's orchid. They pop up everywhere in the spring and they have those delicate little flowers. I'm not sure if they are a weed, maybe, but I just let them grow because they're so pretty.

I don't know what it is, but it is a sweet little flower...hard to find things that bloom in the shade, I say keep and pull!

Thanks for the carrot commiseration, who knew they would be persnickety? Getting ready to try for a fall crop. Glutton for punishment?

Chigiy, I think I will start calling them Poorman's Orchid too; it is much preferable to Policman's Helmet!
